Keith Ray

Keith is the most recently elected tribal official, serving as Secretary of the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians since September of 2020.

Keith was born into a military family and spent the entirety of his youth moving between US Army installations in Germany where his father was stationed. After graduating from General H.H. Arnold High School in 2004, he moved to Las Vegas to attend the College of Southern Nevada. Prior to serving on Tribal Council, Keith worked in the Film and Television industry and eventually founded a production agency in Downtown Las Vegas.

Ray is proud to be the first member of his family to serve the tribe in an official capacity. He aims to work with Tribal Members to instill a passion for entrepreneurial endeavors, self-sufficiency, and sustainability. Keith himself is passionate about the revitalization of the Nomlaki language and preservation of the Tribe’s family histories. Keith enjoys fishing, globetrotting, aviation, and the study of science history.
