Biography
Supervisor Duggan is 35-year resident of Mono County, moving from Southern California and attending Fullerton College and Cal State Fullerton. Her 17-year career in the retail industry led to becoming a 20-year hospitality and sales executive for Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, then managing a resort hotel in Mammoth Lakes for seven years, and founding a hospitality consulting business, all leading to the service of county government. Supervisor Duggan served on Recreation, Tourism, Planning and Economic Development commissions, Mono County Arts Council, and the Mono County Grand Jury. Since joining the Board of Supervisors in 2021, Mono County has faced many challenges, including drought, wildfires, recessions, global pandemic, and historic weather events. Supervisor Duggan served as Chair of the Board during the record-breaking winter of 2023 and worked first-hand with emergency services, first responders, healthcare providers and facilities, public information outlets, residents and visitors. Supervisor Duggan was re-elected to a second term in 2024 and will keep advocating for her district and rural communities.
