Biography
Director Teeter is a long-time resident of Paradise, CA, who graduated from Paradise High School and subsequently worked as a seasonal firefighter while pursuing a bachelor's degree from CSU, San Diego. After graduation, Director Teeter embarked on a career as a designer for technology products in the Bay Area. Throughout his professional journey, he has explored various other pathways as a paralegal and property manager before becoming a licensed, professional Fiduciary.
In 2012, Director Teeter was elected to the Butte County Board of Supervisors, officially taking office on January 7, 2013. Notably, he served as Chair of the Board of Supervisors in both 2014 and 2015 and is now commencing his third term as Supervisor for District 5.
Furthermore, he has been appointed by the Butte County Board of Supervisors to represent them in several organizations, including the Sierra Nevada Conservancy, the Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC), the Butte County Fire Safe Council, the Butte County Association of Governments, and the Butte County Air Quality Management District, among others.
Director Teeter demonstrates a strong commitment to his community, actively participating in various organizations like the Elks Lodge, the Paradise Friends of the Library, the Paradise Ridge Riders Motorcycle Club, the Paradise Pines Property Owners Association, and the Paradise Toastmasters on the Ridge.
